The Mixology Masterclass

Join us for our elusive BLACKLION Vodka Mixology Masterclass and immerse yourself in a world of innovative vodka cocktails. Hosted by our resident Master Mixologist, Pete Simpson, on our farm in the heart of the North Cotswolds.

Your experience begins with an introduction to BLACKLION, rare sheep’s milk vodka while enjoying your welcome cocktail. Discover how we transform sheep’s milk whey into our award-winning vodka and what makes BLACKLION so different from any other vodka.

Then get hands-on with Pete who will teach you how to make three of our favourite unique and delicious BLACKLION cocktails, which you will of course get to sample! In addition, with his expert guidance, a few shared trade secrets, and the unique and flavourful taste of BLACKLION, Pete will help you create your personal favourite cocktail for you to perfectly replicate to impress all when hosting at home.

Refreshing mocktails will be available for anyone not drinking and we will give you samples to take away if you’re driving.

Our Mixology Masterclass Experience is available Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Starting at 12.00pm for 90 minutes.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your experience start time. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be able to participate in the farm tour & tasting.

FAQs

Yes, children under the age of 18 are allowed to join the FARM TOUR & TASTING. However, they must be accompanied by an adult. Under 18’s are excluded from the ‘Tasting’ part of the tour and taken on their own mini tour to meet the other animals who live on the farm. They also get to enjoy a refreshing Sheafhouse Mocktail or Milkshake.

OUR EXPERIENCES  are not suitable for children. Guests must be over the age of 18 to participate in our PARLOUR, MIXOLOGY MASTERCLASS or FULL VALAIS EXPERIENCE. We operate a Challenge 21 policy, so we kindly ask all guests to bring ID with them.

As we are a working farm and our tours and experiences are hosted outside, all visitors will need to wear flat shoes and clothing suitable for the changing weather conditions of the English countryside

Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome on the FARM TOUR & TASTING and must be kept on a lead at all times.

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate dogs on the PARLOUR, MIXOLOGY MASTERCLASS or FULL VALAIS EXPERIENCE

No, all our tours and experiences must be pre-booked online in advance.

The farm is located at Sheafhouse Farm, Draycott Road, Blockley, Glos, GL56 9DY, 10mins (4.2mi) from Moreton-in-Marsh.

Trains frequently run from London Paddington to Moreton-in-Marsh with a journey time of approximately 1h 20m.

Yes, we have a small shop at the farm where we sell our BLACKLION vodka and a selection of other produce and gifts.

We don’t have a bar on the farm, but we do have a café where we offer coffee, tea, soft drinks, and light refreshments.
